I am restoring a 66 Galaxie Convertible, an I was wondering if anyone knew a reliable place to get new quarter panels and a new white top? Not on ebay or amazon, though. I've checked and can't find good ones. Thanks!

You will only find lower patch panels for the quarters, not complete panels, and there are many sources. Check out SMS Auto Fabrics and Original Auto Interiors and Kee Auto Top for material and possibly complete tops.

dearborn is the only one I found that sells one for a 66 Galaxie. Trust me, I searched for several years. But sorry to say but it is very cheap and thin. I know this because I bought them. You'd be better off using a good body guy that can fabricate metal. I ended up only used the fender lip area of the panels. You can see it on my web site on this link. http://http://66galaxieproject.wordpress.com/

I just got quarter patch panels from Macs and was very happy with the quality. I had them put on and they look great. Nice heavy gauge steel.

if you're in KY, there is a galaxie junkyard in Se KY. They're 3.5 hours from nashville, so it was a bit too far for me.

There's also a full parts car in nw , GA thats been there for a while. I think the guy wants $350.

I've also found parts cars in Nashville and AL, all for under a grand. My wife just wont let me haul one home, so i'm SOL.

If you grab a parts car for the quarters, I'll buy a few parts off of it if they're decent and can be reworked.
