I need to replace the rad in the wifes 65 pickup..It leaks and is not the original rad for the truck anyway..I recently picked up a rad out of a 1987 351 van in great shape but the rad hose sizes are much smaller than the hose sizes on the rad for the 65 which has a 390 in it..Any ideas how I can adapt the larger diameter hoses to fit the smaller diameter tubes on the rad?

sleeve's , check with a radiator shop ..

don't know if they are still made , hose that have different size ends , parts store for them or both parts

If it has metal tanks a radiator shop can also replace the inlet/outlet tubes with ones that fit by brazing in ones that fit.
