Dart Iron Eagle block(4.125),Scat crank(4.00),Probe rods(6.20)and pistons(14.7 to one),Camshaft Innovation cam(267/286 .754/.731)@.50,Canfield cylinder heads ported by XSR cylinder heads,Ported Super Victor by XSR,Bigs 1050 dominator with Super Sucker spacer,1 7/8 stepped to 2 inch hedders,C16 fuel with 30 degrees timing. Check the torque,610 ft [email protected]!! Going in my red 85 GT.Had the 347 with the 200 shot in it before and the block split.Looking for mid to high 9's with this motor all N/A. Nomore nitrous!!
Another example of a very hot engine with Canfield heads. If I ever buy a set of heads, i'm going to look long and hard at those Canfields. Did you go above 7400?...HP is nearly constant from 6500 to 7400
Didn't pull above 7400!! Blkfrd, the dyno person said the same thing about the horsepower at 6900 to 7300 that it was consistent that this was a STOUT motor!! It held the horsepower!! Man,those CANFIELDS are making some power and torque!!
How about 700 HP at 6300??That thing is going to be a beast!!

And I am sure that CI cam helps too!!! Nice numbers. The heads are just ONE part of the equation. A custom cam from Jay is one of the smartest things you can do for your engine combo. Plus what you can learn from him. His customer service is TOP NOTCH too!!
