HI ALL
The shop wants $900 to $1,000. to do my rear end. What I have is an 9" with 8 3/4 ring gear, no taper housing. He say's he likes the 9" Eaton limited slip and will use 31 splin axle's all new stuff.. Yeeeoww..
Now my question is
sence I'm going to be replacing the whole 3rd. member, and axle's can't I just order the parts 3rd. member (pumpking) and the axle's with barrins and just bolt them in and go?? Or will I steal need to set the preload on the pinion??
trying to save some $$

ebay it, you can find a fully setup 9" for 500 bucks or so.

I didn't even think of that... I've never done E-bay Just don't like the Idea of not seeing the part with my own hands befor I buy. LOL The wife has So I guess I could have her do it..
