I'm building a custom 55 tbird with a stroked 302 and a barry grant tripower with mallory 8352m dist.
I can't get the engine to idle down and throttle plates are fully closed and the idle screw isn't touching the cam. the info with the tripower says to try reducing the fuel pressure (7 lbs currently) and to recurve the dist.
The dist is factory set a 21 degrees and came with 28, 25 and 18 degree bushings. In order to slow down the idle which bushing should I try? Just trying to save a few steps here,
