What are the advantages, if any, of a reverse manual valve body? I can get one for a decent price.

I bought a TCI full manual reverse pattern valve body and a Hurst shifter for my C-4, they tell you to do a slight modification to the servo but its easy. You MUST in my opinion get a stall converter too cause at first I didnt and the heavy Ranchero would spin the tires going into EVERY gear EVERY time. Now with the stall converter completing the package the car feels as if it has an extra 40 horsepower, prolly cause of the way the power is applied. And increased pressures in the tranny from what ive heard. The shifts are very tight and super quick too. The work was very well worth the effort and will do it to every automatic I own.... get a aux. tranny cooler too. Greg.
