I am running a modified 70 302 in SCCA SOLO2.
I have complied with Stage 2 items in the Boss 302 chassis modification guide.I have not yet added subframe connectors . I have the option of bolt in or weld in.With Bolt in I worry about bolthole elongation. Solo2 puts heavy cornering stress on the car.Any thoughts on this?

Wled-in for the reason you mentioned.

Get the weld ins only if they are for keeping the rear springs in the stock location. Some of the weld ins are for moving the rear leafs in for tire clearance on a drag car. If you can't find weld-ins that keep the stock location, then get the bolt ins and WELD them in when you're done installing them. The bolts alone will not keep the connectors tight enough.

Southside Machine #1404 is a weld in stock spring location connector. No floorpan mods required. @ $120

Competition Engineering # 3140 is a bolt in connector for stock rear spring location. @ $95

The SSM connectors are probably the better of the two for your application. Theya re made from a heavier gauge steel, and are a nice piece.
