Serial #\'s location help needed

Hey, I have a 351C and was wanting to check and see if it is original to my car. Where are #'s located? The only thing I found was above the starter and they are cast in and not stamped on. That leads me to believe they are not the ones I am looking for. Also if the #'s I found are not what I need what are they for? Thanks

Try on the back of the block on a pad near the oil sending unit.

On top of the block at sending unit or between motor and tranny?

Typically you won't find any. Look on any machines exposed surface, but don't think there's a problem if you don't find anything.
