Stupid question about the Shelby drop. Looking at the template on the web, it appears that the new holes that are drilled are below the existing holes- correct? This is the first time I have seen the templates, and while I have know of this procedure on the original Shelby's for years, in my mind I pictured the control arms being raised up, which would lower the car. Somebody please confirm the holes are drilled lower, so I don't make a boo-boo (sometimes I'm pretty dense). Thanks.

I my mind if you put the holes lower it would take the tension off the spring and let the car down. If you raise it it would have more tension and would push the upper arm down some more raising the car. Just my .02's

It only changes the geometry of the front end. There is no ride height change. If any, it's a very minor drop because the spring saddle drops just a hair.
