Just curious to see if anyone has ever put one on their old Galaxie. Mine is a 1968 with a 390 and FMX automatic. I've been looking at the TransGo kits. Are they worth it? Are they a pain to install? Any thoughts or suggestions?

Not Galaxie specific but I have used a few Transgo kits in FMX and they work nice . They are a good kit with good step by step instructions .

I noticed their are 2 different ones recommended for the FMX. One is labeled "Performance" the other "Full Manual." Which have you used?

Not used the full manual , have only used the performance kits that still shift auto in Drive
