I was looking through a Summit Racing book and saw a Hughes heavy duty c-4 transmission yoke, I will have about 500 h.p. and slicks- Do I need this ? Do I need the one for the 1330 sieries u-joint ? thanks-

IMO good insurance . I got mark williams yoke and 1350 uni's. I look at it this way ,put the good stuff in and never have to worry .Slicks and sticky track put a lot of load on the driveline.

I did the same this time around. 1350 joints, Mark Williams yoke, however I ran 1.4 60' times for 5 years on stock 2.5 dia shaft and stock yokes and 1330 joints with no problems at all. Here again, this is only 2500 lbs also.

My truck with driver will be 3,900 lbs. with slicks and 4.56 gears and 500 h.p. I dont know a dang thing about u-joint sizes or yoke sizes. all i know is the 1330 seems to be popular- im going to get a P A automatic trans, the "competition" version. any suggestions are welcome.

I have a Strange driveshaft with 1350 yokes on both sides and a 1350 forged yoke for my C4 . Total cost was under $400 with bulletproof U joints. Between that and the spooled Dana 60 and 35 spline axles, I sleep well.

For 500 flywheel HP you can get by with the 1330. For 500 HP on the ground with slicks you'd want the 1350.

So, for the PA c-4 what do I need to make it clear ?? 1350 i know. 26 spline ? what dimentions ? the Strange book says that theirs is 5.8 " long by 1.5 " diameter. is this the one i need ? thanks for the help...... and dang. its 180 bucks-

IED-SYC4-1350Q. Thats the summit part number for the inland empire 28 spline C-4 yoke for 1350 U joint. Same one everyone else sells. $159. You only buy it once if that helps.
