How skinny are you talking?
I,ve seen BB 64 drag cars with those 12 spoke altered syle wheels with a 4-5" tire on the front. Theres a streeted one in the may 2003 edition of popular hot rodding.

I guess it depends on the look your going for or what your going to do with the vehicle.
Big or small block, the car,s still gonna weigh 4000+ lbs so I,m not sure corner carving is on the cards, but it is gonna look pretty good coming out of the burnout box.

I kinda want to run skinnies on the front too, like M/T's or Moroso. Sized maybe the 7.1 or the 7.6 I believe on a 4.5" rim. My car sits awful high in the front and need to fill with tire so it doesn't look stupid. I'm hoping that a trip to the alignment shop will tell me good news when the car is complete. If handling is a huge issue, skinnies may not be good, but carving corners is for my brothers 95 mustang. I wanna scare people and go straight. Oh, by the way, how are these Moroso's or M/T's on the street like for wear and durability?
