I got my Hydraulic Slave Cylinder in. I notched out above the steer column port to tuck the Slave right under the Master sideways. The push rod bolts to the pedal (with use of Grade-8 and heim joint) and pushes straight in on the Slave. Once I put the reinforcement plate on the firewall, it no longer flexed.
Just for fun, I made a slideshow...Right Click and save target as. It's 14.4 megs in size, so be warned.

I purchased a new column boot, so that area is again weather proofed. Just thought I'd share what I've been into. hehe.
Added Info: 1989 Ranger Master Cylinder. I adapted fittings to 3/16. The '89 Mustang Master has the lines exit the Master towards the Engine. That's why I chose Ranger. Reinforcement plate was clearance for the column. Wildwood Slave, Braided Hydraulic lines and cnc push type slave cylinder for the clutch fork. I haven't fabbed the bellhousing mount yet, but it shouldn't be too bad.
