Ok, just how accurate are computer programs like Dyno2000? Anybody have real experience with these types of programs?

Engine analyzer (and pro) was off by ~4HP for me when compared to the actual dyno. You have to have all the flow data entered properly as well as the little stuff like rings, water pump, etc...

My DesktopDyno was way off since it guessed at port flow.
I could not get DD2000 (demo copy) to match either.

You'll pay a lot more for Engine Analyzer however.

Use the search function for desktop dyno or dyno 2000=).

This post has been brought up LOTS of times as far as accuracy, and what they're actually good for!

's not a problem, I STILL get told to use the search function lol. I just know this subject in particular has a lot of info floating around here!
