This shoudn't be difficult. I have a 351W with World Products iron heads and Hooker headers. I'm trying to swap plugs. A spark plug socket won't fit! It hits the head around the plug. I'm not sure if a regular deep socket will fit. I'm snowed in and don't have one. Any suggestions?

grind down the socket to the lowest profile you can... I had the exact same problem with my old headers...

The problem is that the header won't allow for the proper angle to get at the plug and as a result the socket hits the head correct?

If this is the case, just do as mentioned above and you'll be fine... it sure makes for a pain in the but tho..

Good luck
Tom

The header isn't really the problem on the one I can see. It's just hitting the head itself. The relief around the plug isn't big enough. I still may have to try that.
