Im converting my steering from stock 6cyl to V8. Im going to go manual steering for now. I know I have to change all the tie rods and center link to the V8 type. I will put in a new idler arm as well and granada disc brakes. Its a 65 mustang. what else do I need to change if anything?

I did the exact same that you are doing this past summer, except it was on a 68. I did not replace the center link, but I replaced everything else. The outer tie rod ends need to be for the Granada and the adjustable sleeves. Everything is straight forward. Hope this helps.

I know that in 67 they started to use the same parts for 6 and 8 motors, but before that it wasnt so. What about the pitman arm or steering box? either of those need to be changed for the swap?
