I have a 66 Custom 500, 289, 4 dr sedan, no AC, and I need to know the stock ride height in order to know how much drop in the springs I need to order. I am currently running cut springs in front and Pontiac springs in rear. They have the car at the height I want but the spring rates are less than desirable for a lowered car. If anyone can get me a stock height measurement front and rear, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I've just look thru my 1966 Ford & Merc shop manual but I don't see any reference to ride height. There is a reference in the alignment section to use certain length spacers in the front and rear suspension (page 20-17 and 20-18).

Part 3-6 Specifications, on page 3-52 lists the lengths of the spacers as 4 11/16 for the front and the rear is 6 7/32.
