will a BBC stud girdle work on a 351 C? Canted valve arrangment, so I was wondering? Not like I have the money for it now, but, just would like to know.

DOH! Well Rick, atleast I had a same thought as you...so there is/was logic behind that thought. Thanks anyways.

I have a Jomar stud girdle on my cleveland. It's a nice peice. You can adjust the valves on each cylinder inividually without taking the whole thing loose.

Yeah, I could of got the BBC girdle free. My friend sold his race car, and had an extra NEW one kicking around. I feel your pain.

A big block Chevy has a primary valve angle of 25* where as a Cleveland is 8.5 then you add the difference in bore spacing on the two different blocks and it's easy to see why it woun't work
