Recently picked up a ‘64 Galaxie 500 Convertible. It’s a pretty clean all stock car and I’d like to keep it able to be converted back to all stock. Obviously I had to get some different wheels/tires. I couldn’t rock the 14” capped wheels...
I like the height of the back but the front needs a tweak. Thoughts?
new wheels/tires
Front - 18x8 w/ 225/45/18
Rear - 18x9.5 w/ 275/40/18
seen mentions about Astro springs, different spindles etc. I’d prefer to keep it to a simple spring swap. Any thoughts on max drop before wheel clearance becomes an issue?
