cKelly, your post in another thread got me thinking.

You mentioned there are other options for the front ends?
I have contemplated the MII front end but with my Crites headers I will have trouble with the steering shaft not to mention the cost of the MII retrofit is huge.

My problem with my stock front end is that if you are not at factory ride height, any up and down movement of the front end seems to change the caster and camber of the suspension. The result is piss poor handling characteristics on an uneven road or when the power is applied and front end goes upward.

Do you see this with your car?
Have you done anything to your car to make your front end handle better?

My apologies if this has been covered before.

Are you calling a '67 a late model?
I love that!

My 5.0L friends will call an '84 mustang a classic 'stang now days!

Here are some options. I have been back and forth on this issue myself. Trying to decide which one I want to do. I was looking at doing the Crites shock tower kit and rebuilding and reworking the rest. But someone pointed out I should reconsider the MII. They were right. Heidts is doing a deal on their 63-65 Falcon kit, $1799, free shipping.

ckelly probably knows a few more as well.

I wouldn't recommend Heidts' ...You have to hack up your frame to fit their kit to your vehicle!

Very easy to install!!! Kit was made just for my application.
