Wow, need help on this as the tech dept does not reference this when swapping from an AOD to a T5 in the 93 Mustang GT. The interlock cable that went from the auto shifter to the ign switch. What do I do with this? Remove it? unplug the wire harness?
Any help would be appreciated,

Do you mean the cable that runs under the console to the switch or the connection at the transmission?
Disconnect it and see what doesn't work if you haven't already done the swap.

Didn't think that the Fox Mustangs had an interlock cable of that description ... I could certainly be wrong however !!!

Thanks guys, just yanked it out. No the new clutch seams to be hitting the bellhousing??? Yank it all out again, what a pain this car has been.

Is the bell from an 85-older car?

Don't know what yr it was from, just did a little sanding on the lower spot where it was hitting. Seams fine now. Now the new clutch set up is chattering on drive off. What next?
