with only one spacer plate the converter is about 1/16 away fron the flywheel. Is that enough clearence. Its a 10in TCI 3500 stall. When in low/reverse the engine lugs down but in 2 and 3 sounds OK.No drive shaft yet. Also has a B&M transpak in the comp. mode.Seams to get warm kinda quick to??

1/16" is OK for clearance. Basically you don't want the converter pushed against the flex plate otherwise it's in a bind and will destroy bushings. As long as there is freeplay before you bolt the converter to the flexplate, you'll be fine.
