anyone use these insulators? i bought a set of new stock height stock rate springs and when i installed them, the car sat way too high. it had already been aligned with the previous springs but they were old and too soft. i then took the new ones back out and cut 3/4 of a coil off and put them back. the car has a negative wedge kit and once i put the springs back and drove it a little, it lowered too much, almost 2" of settleing. strange thing is, they were installed about a month before i removed and cut them so it should have settled. maybe it had something to do with alignment, anyway, how much will one of those thicker coil spring insulators raise my car?
