I HAD A NEW ENGINE PUT IN MY 95 FORD F150 XLT IT WAS DYNO TESTED WITH AN EDLEBROCK CARB AND MY ENGINES EFI THERE SETTINGS FOR THE CARB WAS 36.0 WHICH ISNT SUFFICENT FOR MY EFI WHAT SETTINGS SHOULD I SET IT TO??

Short answer ...
Ignition timing for an EFI 302 is 10* initial. remove the spout connector and set it @ 10 for base (initial) timing. The computer will do the rest.

36* is not a base setting, it's a total timing (includes advance) setting. Typically, the computer will advance the timing up to 20* for a total of 32* (from 10*).

Hello thanks for responding, your exactly correct i called the people at recon in philydelphia that built my engine they said the same thing, to set it to 10 then reconnect the computer and it will reset its self to the proper settings, Thanks again .
