I see their stuff on ebay all the time, but I wonder if it's any good. Prices make it sound to good to be true and we all know what that means. Any feedback about The Mustang Depot in Riverside, Cal, Thanks

Personally, I wouldn't buy anything from them again. I bought a crank and rods from them awhile back and wasn't happy with the quality. I was able to sell them on eBay to get most of my money back, but I ended up getting a Scat crank and rods...

Bought a set of rods from them a LONG time ago....took them over 3 months to get them to me (101 days to be exact) and they were NOT the rods I ordered. Don't bother trying to call them if you have a problem because all you'll get is an automated voice message...and you cant' leave a message.

I lucked out--I used to date a girl that moved to the same city that TMD is located in, and I got her to give me some contact information...and got my rods a couple days later. I ordered Eagle rods (as stated in the auction) but received some CAT rods. Sold them on Ebay and bought a set of Eagles from CNC-motorsports.

My machine shop told me DON'T PUT THOSE RODS IN YOUR ENGINE!!!!
Finally I bought some scat.
First I tought WOW good price, but at the end I bought 2 set of rods.
Always buy good quality parts .

I'd got with Scat cranks and rods regardless.

About the only thing TMD is good for is misc parts. I've ordered a main support, and various other smaller items like that, and the service was 'ok'. The parts ordered were what I wanted and expected. However when it comes to important, and by this I mean rotating assembly/valvetrain parts, I'd go with someone reliable. We've had good luck with Flatlander Racing at:

Great prices, good service, lots of info, and they'll work to get you what you want and/or need.

All in all, with a lot of the Ebay sellers you'll run into the same thing. Poor quality, and if they don't have what you want in stock...and you push them, you'll get whatever's on the shelf. I've heard of people getting SBC 383 crank kits instead of 347 stuff lol. This is true regardless of what you're buying. I collect Japanese swords. Do a search for 'Katana' on Ebay, and you'll see what I mean!

Anyhow, good luck with your setup, hope this helps!
