I took my '64 to Buttonwillow Raceway for their open test-and-tune day.

I've got some track experience, but not in anything so vintage. Had a driving instructor friend help me out. Good times:
Hitting the Track in a 1964 Ford Falcon [w/video] | Hooniverse

Held up really well, with the exception of getting hot. Not too surprising (no shroud, stock radiator, etc), but the car had never so much as passed half-temp before, so...I didn't really think about it much.

Great video. Thanks for the link. What size are your Cragars/tires?

They're 15x7 with 205-55 Yokohama S.Drives.

It was hard to find good tires and classic looking wheels in the same place. Performance Plus Tire is where I ended up buying. Free shipping mounting and balancing...not a bad deal.

That was excellent! I enjoy watching vintage classics tooling around the track- I think your car look classy out there. Keep it up.

Awesome! Good to see the '64 out on the track. I had dreams of tracking my '64 for years, but ended up getting a Boss 302.

Very cool to see your car on the track. That is a very difficult track. I ran this track a year ago in my 64 Falcon sedan.
