I just got a Torino GT with a stock 302. I want to make this a quick street car. Just enough power to have fun without loosing street ability. What should I do to it? I was thinking a Cam, intake, and Carb. Oh, what about better gears? I also have a chance to get a 302 out of a 68 Mustang, would there be any parts off of that I could use (heads, intake)?

Cool!

I heard you picked this car up from BOSSLX, I have to stop by this weekend and check it out!

You should maybe think about just keeping the 302 in there for now and maybe start re doing a nice 351-W or 390 or 460?

It depends on what you consider "quick" street car?

I think a 302 would need some seriuos $$$$$$$$ to make a somewhat heavy Torino move.

Let me know if you need any help with anything.

Any pix of it. Check out my engine specs on my Fairlane in my car link. It goes nice, but Id rather ove up to a 390 or bigger, it is a heavy car, It would be money well spent, and everyone ask me if it got a 390 in it. Soon I can say YES.lol.
