A while back I asked about these and it was stated most stuff like door panels ect are from offshore.

Are all vendors getting these door panels from the same source and are we just price shopping then. Are there better sources for most restoration stuff or is this apples to apples stuff at this point?

Rubber seals and the like, is there one source that is better?

Macs is like 4 hours away and I could go up and buy from them to save the over-sized charges ect.

Thanx, Rick

There are very very very FEW vintage parts made onshore today. 90% of everything sold to is comes from Mexico or China. And MACS buys from Donahue and others to fill their coffers, and they in turn get theirs made in China Etc...

The quality is decent overall, but some really crappy pieces comes through, and some really good stuff comes through, you just gotta catch the right shipment or FULLY and TOTALLY inspect every shipment you get and refuse any portion of it that does not meet your thoughts on quality.
