Alright...so what exactly is the point of a torque converter, and how much would it be to have one installed. I have absolutely no mechanical ability, and limited knowledge, so any help would be great. Thanks

If your car is a Manual, you won't have a need for a torque converter.....
If it's an Automatic... you can't drive without one.....

FE
