does anyone have any advice on traction bars for a Mustang 2 with a 302? I'm looking through the summit site and am not having any luck. I tried a universal set but the shock mount at the axle interferes so it won't mount flush.

If you can find a set of Southside Lift Bars they are the way to go. I believe they went out of business, but you never know what you can find on ebay.

South side machine bars work good, I have them, I also use 90/10 drag shocks in the front, from a 67 camaro, you have to make mounting tabs for them. Stock V8 springs, and home made subframe connectors, so far I've ran 1.59 60 foot times, but I think I can cut that down to low 1.5s high 1.4s with more tweaks. This is on hoosier quick time pro DOT tires, http://angellnet.com/DAP/racing/2Sep06Disc1/pages/DSCF0074.htm
