Has anyone here cut out the top of their tranny tunnel and fabricated a new one? I have a good idea on how I want to go about doing this, just would like to have some pictures of what others have done.

No one? One question then, what gauge of metal should I use when doing this? I find a lot of 22 guage and then some 16. 22 seems to be too flimsy.
Will this help? Its for a 60's Fairlane.
