I posted a forum a couple of days ago but I had the wrong transmission on there. I found out that the 98 v6 mustang has a 4r70w transmission in it. It is the same transmission in the 4.6 also. I was wanting to know if this transmission would mount up with the 302. THANKS for any input.

I think youll find it would need to be from a 95 or older in order to have the right bolt pattern.

3.8 has the same bolt pattern as the 5.0.
