64 Fairlane, 289 C4 with Hooker 6134s.
Put an Aluminum deep trans pan on, now I don't have room for the dipstick. I had to bend the dipstick tube even when the stock pan was in. It is the Pan fill type by the way.
Any suggestions?
I have between 1 3/4 to 2" of clearance.

That Lokar dipstick for a pan fill is a nice looking part. A friend has a Lokar on his GM, too bad they are such a pain to put fluid thru, the fitting make the thru hole quite small.

Got the Lokar part today. It won't work either. One last shot is my cousin works for a company that fabricates and repairs tubing for A/C engines. Might be able to cut and reflair the tubing. Other wise back to the stock pan.

I would like to help you out Whipper. But during the process of figuring this thing out. The tube was cut. Sorry.
