I bet this has been covered before, but can someone tell me the best way to get the chrome trim frome around the windshield of a 64 2dr ht , and the trim peice that runs along the rain rail ? Thanks for ant help JD,

And to put the rain gutter trim back on? My 64 Sprint was just painted and I don't want damage. Any help would be great.

It's a PAIN in the A$$, I hope you took it off, so you have a clue to put it back on, you need SUPER strong hands and protect the body with some making tape on the rear, start at the rear, and work forward...I did mine last night....

Thanks. Kinda figured that but was hoping for a easier method.
I take white lithium grease and put thin coat on rain guter first, then put trim on. the grease will make it easier and help from scratching paint.

I also use white lithium grease when assembling other parts on fresh paint (example under any washers, threads of screws, etc.) it helps keep the fresh paint from pulling/wrinkling or scratching

And as falconwagon said make sure you use masking tape to protect surrounding area.
