Depends on the year, all of the later truck engines are externally balanced and have serp belt systems. Some lincolns use a different Motor mount pattern to you'll have to look and see which yours has.

At least on the 73-79 pickups (460 in longbed two wheel drives only) they used the car pan with one exception. The drainplug is in the BACK of the sump, and the car pans are in the SIDE of the sump. It's really annoying changing oil in a truck when the drainplug is sitting on the crossmember.

On the 83 up stuff, I have no idea... other then they had a 4x4 pan added to the mix.
