i understand its not stock and looks unappealing to some people but my main concern is perormance and durability. I also like to selfcontained 1 wire aspect. car will be far from stock anyway
Functionally - a stock distributor with a Pertronix II and coil will be equivalent to that unit. A Pertronix III and P-III coil will be more capable, hotter spark, multi-spark, and rev limiter also. Appearance is your call. If you want billet, they have a billet version that also moves the timing mechanism to the top for easy adjustments. David
