I got a bug up my a$$ and was wondering if anyone has experimented with a turboed 289?

Any experience/ideas/sugesstions/dreams welcome.....

s* loads of turboed 306's ..289 would be no problem if cr is below 9.5 or so...e-mail me for a new turbo!

I've kind of toyed with the idea as well. Have a '74 maverick out back, but cant figure out where to mount the turbo under the hood. There's not much room under there. I'd like to see a pic of a single-turbocharged early mustang or maverick to see how it's set up. I dont know even if my turbo is sized correctly---it's off of a 95 ford flower-stroke diesel. It doesnt look too hard to build headers and all, or even use a set of shorty headers. Oil lines are no problem. From what I hear, the fuel system MUST be able to keep up, because any shortage of fuel will cause burnt pistons and valves.
