I just swapped 3rd members in my 71 torino from an 3.25 open to a 3.70 trac loc. everything fits fine except the rear universal joint. the u joint on the drive shaft the caps are to big for the saddle that they fit into on the rear end. also the u bolts that hold the drive shaft against the rear end are to big as well. is there another common size that I need? This car is a 71 torino originally with a 351c and c-6. The rear u joints have been replaced but are the stock size. what would the next size smaller one be and will it fit the bigger size on the drive shaft. Thanks

check FMS catalog, they have a 1310 to 1330 Ujoint that solves the problem. It a common issue when swapping Ford severduty components with regular passenger car components.
