Just looking at some cleaning techniques and has anyone used a ultrasonic cleaner to bust the dirt and grime out of a carb...Saw one on U Tube. As well locally they are selling them for $199 2.5L And $299 6L . The larger one looks like a carb could be placed in i. Kinda costly, but may come in handy for other stuff too

That's cheap if it's a good one with heat and a drain. USCs are awesome, and I need to get another. They are like pocket knives - you don't seem to use one for much until you have it a while, and then you use it for lots of stuff you never thought of. Sure, bolts, carb parts, soak pistons and then USC to get all the carbon off, etc. Some odd things I'd use mine for besides what you'd normally expect was quick-dipping to clean safety glasses without scratching, cleaning tools, and it's the ultimate hand cleaner to get crud from around your fingernails after working on cars. My wife thought it was worth the price just for that. ;)
