If you're talking about road salt, I use Fluid Film.

Robert,

That Fluid Film, how often do you apply it? Yearly?
Will it hold up to getting underbody car washes?

Thought about LPS3 also, It works well on the Airliners.

Might check on a product called Lizzard Skin also... But bed liner material works really well and is chip/scratch resistant..

Once a year, I haven't been in a car wash but, lot's of wet (rainy) roads and it's still there. I sprayed my log splitter and it sits outside and still sheds water. Getting ready to spray my snow plow.

Thanks Robert. Bought a new used truck. Still looks new underneath. It has to last awhile. LOL

I used lizard skin in and under the Falcon, it didn't spray like it did on TV for me.

Paint I usally use silver rust bullet. Paint over it wit hcolor I want.
Over a fairy pristeen undercarrage ans well as above I spray chain saw bar lube. Over a small amout of time it hardens. About the only thing that will remove it is gasoline. Never have had it wash off. Coat stored blocks with it 20 years later machine shops call an ask what the F did you coat the blok with? They went nuts trying to remove it.

The $8 dollar can of undercoat that you can buy at any parts store works just as good as all those expensive alternatives.
