I also found the pesty trans leak That I have had sence this full comp TCI trans was new. I allways thought it was the pump seal or gasket. But it was a hairline crack at the botom of the case.

I can understand, maybe, the trans leak thing.

But how can you buy used parts then blame that on TCI?

"Hairline cracks?", OK, ... **** happens, if TCI was given a chance to fix the problem and didn't step up to do anything about, then you have something to get PO'ed about.

NOT used. The converter was new Still in the box.
And the trans was also new.
I stoped buying used parts when I was a teenager.

The trans sat for 4 years before I instaled it.
So I just craped the bed on that one

That doesn't look like any TCI converter I have seen.

What are the numbers stamped into it?

That is a HUGE balance weight, btw. It needed to be tacked in the middle, at the very least.

Sux!

Is The number stamped on the converter

Talked to TCI today and they said they will do what they can to work with me on the converter repair. I will ship it to them Monday and we will see what they do.

Also I found a good core to build my next trany.
Hopfully I won't be down mor than a couple of weeks from today.
