Not too much to report, the car is running nice. I finally found the leak into the trunk and sealed it up good and have also installed my radio so now with some decent tunes happening it's more enjoyable to drive.
I'm going to put my tach in this weekend, the same one I had in Granada #2 11 years ago (yes I kept it all this time).
I also checked the bolts yesterday on that drop bracket for the P/S cylinder and they did come loose, I tighten it up and will keep an eye on it this week. I'm going to get the bracket welded up this Fri. on my day off.
I will be getting some shocks for it next month and will be looking forward to better handling on the highway after the install.
Finally, I caved and picked up a RPM Air Gap intake (after much research, I've decided that an Air Gap would not hinder the performance of my stage 2 motor too much compared to the Victor Jr., if you all remember I picked up a used VJ back in March for $250 Can.). A friend I know at his engine shop did a favor for me and sold me the air gap brand new for a great price. I'm planning to install the intake with the 650 DP in about 2 weeks time. I will report on that when I do the install and when the stage 2 motor is built I'll get to test it with both intakes to see which one works better. I have a feeling that the air gap will work better low and mid range and not give up too much on the top end over the VJ so I may end up selling the VJ down the road, we'll see. As of right now I'm looking forward to seeing my stk. 351W with a brand new alum. air gap intake topped with a holley carb under the hood of "project sleeper".
