I am installing a set of e7te heads on my 92 5.0. These heads have 1.94 and 1.60 valves, have been ported on the exhaust side and gasket matched on the intake side. My question is will I have any piston to valve problems running a B cam with 1.7 roller rockers. B cam specs are 224 dur, .480 lift w/1.6 rockers. Should be .510 lift with the 1.7's.

I would say no, but you wont know unless you clay the pistons, it is not hard and doesnt take a bunch of time, and could save you a lot. If it helps I run a 1.90" valve with .544 lift and no issues.

Thanks, nasty. I was hoping someone would say no problem. I will clay just to make sure. I'm not worried about the lift, just the duration. I hoped it was short enough that the valves will be out of the way by the time the piston gets to close.
