Hi Folks
I have an 84 mustang GT 5.0 and it just developed a vibration at 45-55 mph. it is a on and off like bzzzz--bzzzz-bzzzz you can feel through the floor, sounds like up front. I have replaced u-joints (one was bad) checked mounts etc. everything seems good.the tires are old and I was wondering if a bad tire could produce this kind of vibration?any tips appreciated. Also checked bearings front wheels -OK.Does not produce the vibration when car is jacked up off rear wheels and run to speed in gear.???Thanks

If you can make the noise go away by going faster or slower, tires would be a good place to start. Even if it doesnt make a difference, I would stat with the tires.

Very good suggestion. Tires are very often the culprit. Get them checked.
