I have a 351W stroker to 427ci, 10:1, AFR 185's, aluminum radiator... The engine is a standard passenger side exit v-belt.

I had an Edelbrock pump before for 9 years when the engine was a 393 and I had no problems and it never overheated. I just wanted to know what else is out there, or if anything has changed with their products.

I'm buying a new one because I didn't pay much attention to the coolant and corrosion ended up eating the backing plate to where it won't be smooth, ruining my aluminum radiator, and plugging passages in my heads. With all that I'm putting in my new motor, it seems dumb not to replace the pump.
