I ran a 780 Holley VS when it was on the road last time. Now I'll be using a 850DP when it's back ( the guy I bought the stroker from used a 1100 Dominator), but he used a major rad solid cam and had the aluminum exhaust thing on it. He wanted 2000. for the heads, but I got the Boss heads with the motor and that was good enough.

I used to run an 850cfm(yes 850) 13-1 cr , 4v small chamber heads, strip dominator intake, hooker super com headers, shift at 7000, thu the lights 7500. 11.90 115 mph 4speed grannie shift(horrible 4speed guy).

I have used a 600 vacuum secondary and seemed to small even after jetting. Had the factory Motorcraft jetted up and worked good but leaked fuel to much. Bought a 750 vs last year and like it so far. Mild motor with auto trans.

I have a modified 750 Holley that flows 844 cfm. On my modified Cleveland 12.0 comp. solid cam, Boss 351 cyl. heads Holley strip dominator intake, Hooker Super Comp headers,
T-5, and 4:30 gears. All wraped in a 67 Fastback.

I was curious because I'm going from a 750dp to a 1000cfm 4150HP carb. It was expensive but I'm told they work really well. I only drag race the car. I know,I know your probably going to say way to much carb but I've been told a 950HP would be perfect. I launch the car with a 5000 converter.

That should be cool, email a pic of the mill, and your car. I was thinking of going with a 950 DP, but will use my friends 850DP to see how it goes, then the tunnel ram goes on near the end of the season, then I make up my mind. Have fun

I use a 750 vs holley on my 4v in my torino, works well. I dont think the dominator would be too much, I know someone who runs a 950 on his 351w and it runs great, no hesitation or anything. Especially if your gonna be doin race only, shouldnt be a problem at all.

I use a Predator carb flows up to 930cfms. Beat a 750dp by 25hp and I sure can feel the difference. 351C 4v heads. 11.3 comp. 4000stall c4 3.89 gears going to either 430's or 456's.

I have a 650dp with edelbrock performer intake. (aussie heads from powerheads an comp 280h cam). Runs strong, but i'm sure i'll see a big hp gain with a 750 single plane setup.

Run 650 Dp on performer intake with open 4v heads,mostly street.Performs well,not starving for fuel.Its 335-hp on the engine with 9:5-1 .

I use a 750DP holley on my drag car. I tried a 850DP for a few runs but did not have the time to get a good setup on the carb. Would have probably run a little faster
71 Pinto, 351C (.030 Over)hard block filled (I hate those thin wall castings), C-4, solid lifter, closed chamber heads, 13.1+, torker intake, 4.56 gear, 3500 stall converter,1.4 60ft times, [email protected] and rarely sees 7000 rpm Nothing special, just a good little bracket car

I will be running a 670 Street Avenger. I have not got it tuned yet...But I think it will be a good street carb when I get it tuned right.

Mike545 I was giving 70coupe my ultra top secret carb combo that would guarantee him low 7s in the quarter and is too valuable to give out to the general public!No actually I thought I recognized him as were from the same neck of the woods and I wanted to make sure he got my message since he didn't answer an earlier one.Remember to check those private messages you never know when I might be sending you some top secret info!!
