He's referring to the cylinder head (E6 casting) and true flat top pistons which allow less room for aftermarket heads/ cam upgrade, I think they may have been cast as well, not sure.
Forged flat top pistons.My '88 T-Bird has an '86 'Stang engine.I installed an Explorer intake,new exhaust and headers,and she will MOVE.I'd rather have valve reliefs for new heads,but,still quick.
