Hand clearance the ones you have. Do a mock up check to see where they will hit nice and easily turning the motor over then hand grind the obstruction out. I did that to mine because I didn’t like the final clearances at final assembly.

My 302 in the Mustang has 2.02 valves. They are VERY close to the edges of the reliefs with the KB116's.

I HAD a set of SRP flat tops listed in the classifieds a while back, but I don't know whether noone wanted a set of used pistons for $100 or noone reads the classified section.....but I junked them. Yes, I took
them to a scrap metal recycler and got a whole $3 out of the set.

Check out SRP (a division of JE pistons) and Mahle. Both make excellent quality stuff and they're fairly inexpensive compared to custom piston$.

How much are you looking to pay for them. I had a set of custom pistons made from brc performance, and they were very nice. They have a -21cc dish to keep compression right at 10.8.1 on my 414w. With a 4.00 stroke and 6.2 rod.
