What Torque Converter?

Hey, I've got most the parts ready to put my truck back together, but I've been looking for torque converter. It has been suggested to me to get a custom converter, but I'm not sure what the prices are like and I'm not sure who to talk to. I was considerign the TCI breakaway for my truck, but I want to make sure it stays driveable. Here is my setup:

1972 F100 2WD 460
Wiend Stealth Intake
D0VE Heads
Accel Dist.
Roller Rockers
Shorty Headers w/ 2 1/2" dual exhaust
Comp Energy Cam - 272 Adv Duration
10:1 comp
3.50 gears (will get posi unit)
31" tires
Truck weighs roughly 4500 lbs.

I want to maintain some driveability, but performance is in mind. Any suggestions?

id use a stock conv, small cam for a big block.
I don't like TCI converters. I just removed mine and replaced it with an Edge converter.
Would the break-away drive on the street OK?
TCI is not good. Poor quality. I'd go with Edge.
