I have a 63 country sedan with a 352/cruiseOmatic and was wondering what wheels should have come on it originally. Did sta wags get bigger sizes? Which brand of tire was used by Ford? I want to put on stock steel wheels with a correct bias ply tire set up and dog dish caps. Appreciate any feedback.

!4's and they were wider than cars. I have one down at the shop and will measure it later today. Tires were 800X14.

Wagons were 14X6. Cars were 14X5 1/2. Tires were 750X14 on cars and 800X14 on wagons. Optional were 15X5 1/2 wheels with either 670X15 or 710X15 tires. These were standard on hi-po cars.

thanks guys, does anyone know what brand of tire would have come on them? Firestone? Uniroyal? Goodyear?

Not sure about 63 but I have the original spare in my 67, BF Goodrich. Ironic since now I am running BF Goodrich Radial TA's
